The 2023 GMC Acadia has proved to be a solid seller for GMC with the mid-size family hauler being a vital component in the brand’s SUV sales machine. To the 2023 model year, GMC is making just minor adjustments, such as introducing new exterior colors and lowering the base price to $38,195. (pricing includes destination).
The only changes to the Acadia for 2023 are three new exterior colors (Volcanic Red Tintcoat, Sterling Metallic, and Ultra Blue Metallic) and a wrapped steering wheel that comes standard on the SLT, AT4, and Denali models.
Other than that, the powertrains are the same. Almost all models come with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that makes 228 horsepower and is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The SLT and Denali models can get an optional naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V-6 with 310 hp and a nine-speed automatic transmission. The V-6 is standard on the off-road-focused AT4.
