In the U.S., the Velar is available with a gasoline or diesel-fueled version of a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 247 horsepower (184 kilowatts) or 177 hp (132 kW) each. However, the First Edition is only available with a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine with 380 hp (283 kW) of power. The eight-speed automatic is the only gearbox available.
The Velar is available with many amenities, and almost all of them become standard in the First Edition.The Most Expensive : The exterior benefits from a more aggressive R-Dynamic, and the panoramic sunroof blends in with the top thanks to the black contrast top. The only inner upholstery available is the Light Oyster and Ebony perforated leather combination with suede headliners. Twenty-way electric seats with heating and cooling are suitable for front passengers. The people in the back also get their own heated seats. The 23-speaker stereo will also make your music sound amazing. There are also a group of driver assistance technologies to maintain a stylish crossover on the road such as adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, and lane guard assistance.
Once someone pays $90,295 for the Velar First Edition, some additional options just make the crossover look better. For example, Flux Silver paint has a beautiful color and costs a very expensive $8,580. The Most Expensive : A slightly more economical option is silicon silver for $920. A set of 22-inch wheels is standard, but the Land Rover also has a 21-inch option with five separate fingers for $3,775 on the First Edition. Inside, Interactive Driver Display is a no-cost option, and adds a 12.3-inch high-definition display to the instrument panel to view driver information, entertainment, and navigation. Upgrading to radio with Sirius XM and HD capabilities costs $615.
As a limited-run model, most buyers probably won’t get a First Edition trim. Instead, customers can also do an option that brings the R-Dynamic HSE trim price to $100,075 from its base cost of $78,095. New drivers will have access to all First Edition amenities except for Flux Silver paint.
The Velar goes on sale this summer in the US. If you don’t need all this luxury, this crossover has a base price of $50,895.
