Approximately three months since its world premiere, the new 4 Series Coupe has been incorporated into bmw USA’s online configuration. Math starts at $45,600 for a base 430i in the form of rear-wheel drive, but today we’re talking about a range-topping (temporary) version with all the bells and whistles. The M440i xDrive Coupe starts at $58,500, and as you’ll see, you can add options worth nearly $15,000 with just a few mouse clicks.
The first option available in the configurator is Shadowline, which is bmw speak for black side mirror cover and tinted windows. One of the most expensive additions available for the new 4 Series Coupe is the metallic Tanzanite Blue II paint pictured here, available for $1,950. Alternatively, Dravit Grey Metallic is the same price.
Speaking of expensive options, the most expensive of all is the $3,700 Executive Package, featuring adaptive LED headlights with laser technology, motion control support, a 12.3-inch digital driver screen and 10.25 infotains with direct navigation, head-up display, front seat and steering wheel heating, and ambient lighting.

In addition to the Executive Plan, customers can add three more packages: a $1,700 Professional Driving Assistance Package, a $700 Parking Assistance Package, and a $1,500 High Performance Cooling and Tire Package. The first two are self-evident, while the third carries 19-inch wheels with high-performance tires, adaptive M suspension, along with better braking and improved cooling.

Add all the extras and you’ll pay $72,875 MSRP, plus another $995 for purpose and handling costs for a total of $73,870. Needless to say, the M4 Coupe that debuts later this month will be much more expensive, and potential hot derivatives such as the GTS will drive up prices even further.
